Hi chris, Would you like to introduce yourself?
Hi, i’m Chris, 37, from Sheffield.
Why did you reach out to work with CMP, what were your initial goals?
I had gradually put on weight over the past few years and was having trouble getting back into shape despite increasing my activity levels in the gym.
What i thought would lead to me losing weight, wasn’t working and i felt like i needed more help to achieve my goals.
I came to CMP looking to not only lose this excess weight but to gain strength, fitness and overall health.
What were the motivating factors in wanting to achieve these goals?
I’d been trying to lose weight and increase my fitness for around a year before joining CMP.
I found that despite making changes to my diet and going to the gym more, i still wasn’t seeing results which was frustrating to say the least.
With my wedding on the horizon, i didn’t have any more time to waste and i wanted to start married life healthier, fitter and happier.
In 16 weeks of working with CMP, i’ve seen more progress than i did in the year a spent trying to get into shape alone, which has been hugely eye opening for me.
Can you tell us about the results that you’ve achieved with us?
Yes, i’ve lost over 12kg in weight whist getting stronger and fitter in the gym!
Through the diet changes made in the CMP program, i also feel that my energy levels are more stable and i’m no longer relying to unhealthy or processed foods to get me through the day.
I’ve learnt so much about how to exercise more efficiently and my understanding of nutrition and how i need to fuel my body not just for my training program but my daily life has improved considerably.
I feel more focused and actually less hungry or craving the wrong foods in the middle of the day which has made me more productive and less all or nothing with food.
Also, through my nutritional program i’ve been taught how to strike the balance between dieting whilst still incorporating ‘treats’ into my diet.
In fact, i no longer look at food as ‘good’ or ‘bad’ anymore, it’s a case of understanding my calories and applying the 80/20 rule that CMP teach.
what would you say to anyone thinking of hiring us at CMP?
I would say to anyone that you’ll be amazed at how you can adapt to the program and how quickly you can see results if do what they say.
The first two weeks were challenging in getting into a solid routine and rewiring my approach to nutrition; i actually started on more calories than i thought i would, my trainer told me on the first day that once i found my feet with the training programs and the diet that i would get into it and he was 100% right.
I would say, if you want to see results then CMP is the place to go.
