CMP FACILITY - GYM MANAGER

Job description

Chris Mason Performance Gyms are the leading private personal training business in South Yorkshire and one of the best personal training businesses in the U.K. for client results.

We are looking for experienced fitness industry professional to become a CMP Facility Gym Manager to be positioned at our gym in Sheffield (plus an ability to travel to our other CMP facilities across the region).

The role of a Gym Manager is to oversee the success of a CMP facility and you must have a strong understanding of the company history, culture and to be able to motivate and lead a team.

You’ll bring demonstrable sales experience and the ability to quickly get to grips with our business and our personal training product and standards. You’re expected to be enthusiastic, with excellent communication skills and a collaborative spirit.

You have a ‘can do’ attitude and you share our passion for excellent customer service and high level personal training.

A brief outline of the role includes:

· Being responsible for the smooth running of our facility, ensuring that the facility is operationally sound and has a strong performance scorecard.

· Caring about our clients and their results, ensuring they’re happy and the personal training product is delivered to the high level expected.

· Leading a personal training team, and includes all aspects of personal trainer development and assessment.

· Overseeing and assuming control of lead generation, appointment setting and sales. Understanding that sales is a crucial element of running a successful business and ensuring that sales performance metrics are met.

· Overseeing the implementation of the health and safety policy, and resolve any issues as quickly and efficiently as possible

· Looking at new ways to improve the business and it’s relationship with the local community and collaborate with the regional manager / director on potential opportunities for growth.

Not only will you lead from the front, you’ll also inspire those around you and so, in this role, you should feel confident is raising standards and expecting more and a strong results focussed personal training background is essential in this role.

We provide a results-based service to our clients and a platform for personal trainers to grow into a role that becomes a serious personal training career which is far removed from the feast or famine experience of freelance commercial gym personal trainers.

7) Deep knowledge in training methodology and be comfortable developing and educating a personal training team.

8) The ability to communicate with prospective clients and feel comfortable with sales and consultations.

Salary: £29,000 p/a (OTE - £26-30,000 p/a)

Hours: 35hrs per week

Minimum Experience Required: One year management or leadership experience plus two years high level personal training and a portfolio of client results.
